Terms of Service

Last updated: March 25, 2026

What Relay is

Relay is a service that connects to your GitHub repositories, reads merged pull request data, and generates plain-English summaries for non-technical stakeholders. By using Relay, you agree to these terms.

Your responsibilities

You must have the authority to grant Relay read access to the repositories you connect. Do not connect repositories you do not own or have permission to share data from.

You are responsible for managing who can access digests and summaries in the Relay dashboard. Only grant access to people who should have visibility into your team's engineering activity.

Data ownership

Your code, pull requests, and repository data belong to you. Relay does not claim ownership of any data you provide. Generated summaries are produced for your use and you may share, copy, or modify them freely.

Service availability

We aim to keep Relay available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Relay depends on third-party APIs (GitHub, Anthropic) that may experience downtime outside our control.

Limitation of liability

Relay is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate summaries, data loss, or service interruptions.

Generated summaries are AI-produced and may contain errors. You should review summaries before relying on them for business decisions.

Account termination

You may disconnect your repositories at any time. To request deletion of your account, open an issue on our GitHub repository or email the team at the address listed there. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Relay after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
